Can you believe it? Map 6 is already up and here we are heading into Map 7. This will be the first official map where OGCraft and Pioneer players start together at the same time and progress together under one roof!

Speaking of roofs, we’ve raised it this time round! I think this new spawn is the biggest spawn we’ve ever made for the server, only rivaled by the Zelda Castle we had all the way back in Map 2. Huge thanks to Nix and our newest Architect Silver_Seven for helping create in my opinion one of the best spawns we’ve ever had, along with Elliott and a few other people helping out!

Some new additions

• Brand new Spawn Easter Egg with a custom built minigame within so it’s still playable after the EE is finished! Better get whacking!
• New Quest NPCs within spawn ranging from the Prison Guard to the Horse Trainer. Have a dig into the lore of spawn and what other treasures it may be hiding.
• We’re adding something else Pioneer had, the interactive chat! This will allow you to show off all your cool and special items!
• EpicSellWands are back! You can buy these via /shop or get them via the crates!
• Ever wanted to just sit on a slab? A stair? Or are you a floor person or even a person person? You can now sit down anywhere, any time (however not sure how some people would feel about you sitting on their head)
• A new online map! This can be accessed by doing /map in game or by heading to ogcraft.org/map
• A new voting reward structure! More on that below!

Small General Changes

• Behind the scenes staffing plugin changes. 
• /fly has been moved from Diamond to the Emerald rank to fit more inline with Emerald being on par with the Carpenter Rank.
• Player referral rewards added! If you get your friend to join on the server and they do /ref your_username you both receive rewards! You also get bigger and better rewards the more people that do /ref your_username
• The legacy permanent supporter ranks have had their kits changed to monthly kits rather than the large one time use kit. This means anyone with a legacy permanent support rank can receive a kit every 30 days.

Voting reward structure

• A new daily vote crate! This crate key can be obtained by voting on all the voting sites every day! 
• We have also added rewards for milestone voting amounts, so you will receive something when you hit 100 total votes (10 days worth of voting). All these rewards have been posted in the discord in server-voting along with being listed on our website.
• A new voting boss bar appears whenever someone votes! It shows the most recent voter along with how many votes are left until the vote party! This was added around 2 weeks ago however we thought we’d include it here as not many people have seen it (massive thanks to superminiminer for the idea and ShadowVoids for making it possible)
• Voting now gives even more claimblocks than before.

What version will the Map be on?

We’re aiming to open on 1.20.5 but that all depends on plugins, otherwise it'll be 1.20.4. We are also starting the world with a smaller world border so once we update to 1.21 we can expand the border and allow room for the new Trial Chambers to spawn in!

How can I bring items to the new map?

This time round we’re allowing the transfer of any and all items apart from spawners! Do /kit reset to receive your reset kit. Within your reset kit you’ll get a shulker box and a bundle.

Fill your bundle with all the items you wish to take with you (excluding spawners) and pop it in your shulker box. Then fill your shulker box with all your trophy and historical items (such as items won from events and/or Dragon Eggs).

When you’ve packed everything you want, hand it to a staff member however once we have been given the shulker box you cannot get it back.

The final day for turning in shulker boxes is 2nd May! If you can’t physically hand them into a staff member, put the shulker box in your inventory then send a message into our discord with your exact username and we’ll grab it that way.

Once we open on the new map, your shulker boxes will be given out by the moderators. Please note, any spawners found in bundles will be removed without warning.

Minecraft Server Rules

1. Do not grief builds, even if they are not claimed.
2. Do not spam the same message or characters.
3. Do not scam.
4. Do not duplicate items/blocks/entities. This includes TNT.
5. Do not build inappropriate things.
6. Do not ask staff for ranks, items or money (obvioulsy unless you are trading!).
7. Do not Xray. The use of any mods, texture packs, exploits and/or other methods that give you an ingame advantage such as X-Ray are not allowed.
8. Respect ALL players.
9. Do not impersonate another player
10. Try to keep English in main chat, other languages can go to /msg.
11. Do not bypass the afk kick.
12. Staff have the final say in punishments.
13. Try not to talk about politics.
14. Talking about other non-main stream servers is not allowed. For example; Hypixel is okay but a small public server is a no no.
15. Shop and Town player warp rules can be found at /warp Info.
16. Use common sense Punishments are as per the Staff's discretion even if it is not listed here.

Discord Server Rules

1. Be nice and treat everyone like you'd want to be treated! We accept anyone and everyone into our community!
2. No NSFW or obscene content. This includes text, images, links or gifs!
3. No spam. This includes excessive use of caps lock, sending the same message multiple times and sending multiple messages within a (very) short amount of time.
4. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable in any way, please contact a member of staff and we will try to resolve the issue the best we can.
5. Talking about other non-main stream servers is not allowed. For example; Hypixel is okay but a small public server is a no no.
6. If you are to send a URL, please make it clear what it is. We've had a few people come to the server and spam fake discord nitro links, please don't click these!
7. Please don't ping streamers in here, they will most likely have their own discord server so shoot them a message over there!
8. Please refrain from directly messaging staff members. If there is an issue the best place to go about server issues is ⁠bug-reports! If it's urgent then head over to ⁠urgent-support-and-ban-appeals
9. Do not DM Admins in regards to promotional material, we will reach out to you if and when we see fit
10. Do not abuse the ⁠urgent-support-and-ban-appeals system as this will result in your permission to make tickets being removed. It will possibly include other punishments too

Definitions

"OGCraft" - The term "OGCraft" refers to OGCraft, which is represented by the OGCraft Founder Team. The terms "staff", “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to OGCraft and the OGCraft Founder Team. The terms "supporter", "member", “user,” “you,” and “your” refer to site visitors, and any other users of our Services.

"Service" and "Services" - The terms "Service" and "Services" refer to any service that OGCraft offers, which includes (but not limited to) our Minecraft Servers, Websites, Forums etc.

"OGCraft Minecraft" - The term "OGCraft Minecraft" refers to the Minecraft servers we offer, which includes servers running on or connected through the ip: "play.OGCraft.org". OGCraft is not in any way affiliated with Mojang AB or any other company, copyright, or trademark.

“OGCraft Discord Server” – The term “OGCraft Discord Server” refers to the public discord server where all our public information can be seen, our staff can be contacted and you can contact other players of the OGCraft Minecraft server. Our discord can be found by typing this link into a web-browser - https://ogcraft.org/discord

"Rules" - The term "Rules" and "Server Rules" refers to our rules found on the OGCraft Minecraft server by type /rules and /rules 2 in chat

Application of Server Rules

In addition to the Minecraft EULA, all OGCraft Rules apply to all members, and all members agree to be bound by these when on the server and partaking in anything server related (this extends to the OGCraft’s discord server) as long as they are members of OGCraft. A breach of the Rules or these Terms will result in restriction of access to our Services either temporarily or permanently at our discretion. In the event a user has their privileges or access to a OGCraft service restricted for a breach of the rules or these terms of service, they will be given a fair chance to have their concerns heard.

Access to OGCraft and our Services

In consideration of you paying our fees in accordance with these Terms, you may obtain additional privileges during the Plan Period. Your Plan will start on the date on which you sign up for the Plan on our server store (“Start Date”) and, subject to earlier termination in accordance with these Terms, will continue until the Plan expires, you cancel your Plan, or you change to another Plan, in accordance with these Terms (“Plan Period”). This applies to the two monthly plans, CEO and OG ($10 a month and $20 a month, respectively)

In consideration of you paying our fees in accordance with these Terms, you may obtain additional privileges after the purchase of the plan. Your plan will start immediately, and you will gain the privileges within 24 hours on the OGCraft Minecraft Server. This applies to the one-time-purchase plans Miner, Collector and Banker ($10, $20 and $30 one-time-payment, respectively)

We may refuse to accept any order by you to purchase a Plan at any time at our discretion.

We may suspend or cancel your Plan at any time at our discretion for any reason. In the case where you are blocked/banned from our services and your plan has not yet expire, OGCraft hold the right to refuse refund you in full or in partial payments.

Legitimacy of Payments

Any payments must be made with the expressed authorization of the account holder or card holder. Payments not made with expressed authorization are not welcomed by OGCraft and if issues arise OGCraft reserves the right to remove privileges and restrict or remove the user’s access to OGCraft services.

Payment Values

All stated payment values are in US Dollars (USD). While OGCraft does not charge international fees and absorbs any international fees from payments originating outside of the United States, please be aware that some banks, depending on the method of payment, may still directly charge you a small fee, usually varying with the amount of the payment, which we can neither control nor reimburse.

Payment Methods and Process

Payments are accepted through our store (store.OGCraft.org) via PayPal, which allows quick and automatic processing from verified accounts.

The Minecraft username for the account which privileges should be applied must be specified accurately under the “username” field.

Processing Time

Payments made through PayPal are communicated automatically to our system. Any privileges should be applied within 5 minutes after the payment is made but may take up to 24 hours. If privileges are not applied after 24 hours of successful completion of a payment you should contact an OGCraft staff member. Note that while your nickname and prefix might not immediately change, permissions should still be applied. Once again, please contact a staff member if these need to be updated.

Please be aware that PayPal may hold payments from unverified accounts or payments by check until that payment clears with your bank, which can increase processing time by up to two weeks. Unfortunately, we have no control over these holds and will not apply any privileges until payment is confirmed.

Refundability and Cancellation

Payments made to OGCraft are non-refundable unless otherwise allowed in these Terms. OGCraft will always endeavour to provide a satisfactory outcome as is judged best by the Founder Team for all players and OGCraft. We attempt to be as transparent as possible in our processes and in what you should expect. Even if you are still not satisfied with an outcome, a refund should not be expected, nor will it be given, but please feel free to contact us about the matter.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your PayPal account. If you voluntarily choose to cancel your Plan, your cancellation will take effect at the end of the current paid term. In such cases of voluntary cancellation, pro-rated refunds will not be granted.

Authority and applicable terms

To be eligible to purchase a Plan, you must have full legal capacity to enter into a contract in your country of residence; and if you are an individual, be at least 18 years old; and you further represent and warrant to us that you have authority to bind any business on whose behalf you use our site or purchase a Plan to access the Services. Where you do not meet these requirements above you will need to ask a person who does satisfy those requirements to purchase the Plan on your behalf and enter a contract with us.

These Terms and any document expressly referred to in them constitute the entire agreement between you and us and supersede and extinguish all previous agreements, promises, assurances, warranties, representations and understandings between us, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter. You acknowledge that in entering in purchasing a Plan you do not rely on any statement, representation, assurance or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in these Terms or any document expressly referred to in them. You and we agree that neither of us shall have any claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation or negligent misstatement based on any statement in these Terms.

Privileges

You may receive virtual rewards in the form of in-game privileges. These privileges are not tangible goods, are provided as a way to thank users who support OGCraft morally or financially and are not intended to give supporters an unfair advantage over other members. Please be aware that supporters will not be given special consideration or treatment because they have made a donation or purchase. Many of the privileges awarded to those who have provided financial support can be obtained by other methods, and those that cannot are considered cosmetic or do not significantly alter gameplay. All awarded privileges are non-transferrable, and the perks, price, names, and weight of ranks may change at any time.

In-game Privileges

The official list of the privileges for each rank can be found in the description of the ranks. This page supersedes information from any other source, including that given by staff members or located on the DonationStore webstore. OGCraft will do its best to honor the privileges it specified to a user at the time that they were awarded. However, this is not always possible and OGCraft reserves the right to make changes to the reward scheme and OGCraft’s services as OGCraft sees fit.

OGCraft reserves the right to remove any privileges granted at any time for any reason.

Custom Donation

You also have the option to donate without receiving privileges. Donating beneath the “Help Support The Server!” category shall be considered a donation without reward(s).

Server Changes

Changes may occur, such as a server reset, data corruption, or user error, that could remove privileges or affect gameplay. We will do our best to restore privileges for current subscriptions and active users in good standing, but some items may be irretrievable.

Our Provision of the Services

Our Services are provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We will always make reasonable efforts to keep the Services operational. Technical difficulties may result in temporary interruptions to the Services. No interruptions to the Services shall entitle you to a refund of any payment already made by you. We are under no obligation to provide any content for the Services and reserve the right to upload, remove, vary or otherwise deal with any content provided on our Services from time to time. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue all or part of our Services without notice at any time. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.

How We Use Your Personal Information & Our Privacy Policy

All and any personal information we collect will never be shared outside the Founder team unless required to do so by a law division of any governing body.

If at any point there is a data breach and your personal information is leaked, OGCraft reserves the right to not inform you of this breach, but we will try our hardest to contact every single person we have collected data on that their data may have been breached.

Confidential Information

Any non-personal information or material transmitted to us or through our Services will be deemed to be non-confidential and non-proprietary. By sending us any non-personal information or material, you affirm that you are the legal owner, creator, and/or controller of that information or material and that you give us an unrestricted, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, display, perform, modify, transmit and distribute those materials or information, and you also agree that we are free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques that you send us for any purpose. However, we will not release your name or otherwise publicize the fact that you submitted materials or other information to us unless: (1) you give us permission to do so, (2) we first notify you that the materials or other information you submit to a particular part of our Services will be published or otherwise used with your name on it, or (3) we are required to do so by law. This also includes if we are concerned for your safety or safety of others around you, we reserve the right to inform your local authority of your name (to the best of our abilities) and your IP address.

Other Sites

When you visit or purchase from a website affiliated with us or linked to our site, you use the other site at your own risk and that site’s terms and conditions of use and privacy policy will apply. We have not examined the content of any other website, and are not responsible for the actions, products, services, or content of any such other site or its related businesses

Other Important Terms

We may transfer our rights and obligations under our Contract with you to another organisation, but this will not affect your rights or our obligations under these Terms.

You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under our Contract with you if to another person if we agree in writing.

This Contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.

Each of the clauses of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining clauses will remain in full force and effect.

If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these Terms, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.

Term and Termination

These Terms shall remain in full force and effect while you use our Services. Without limiting any other provision of these Terms, we reserve the right to, at our discretion and without notice or liability, restrict or deny access to and use of our services (including blocking IP addresses), to anyone for any reason, including, without limitation for breach of any part of these Terms or of any applicable law or regulation.

We may also, at our discretion, suspend, terminate, or delete your account and any created content or information at any time, without warning. If we suspend or terminate your account for any reason, you are prohibited from re-registering or creating a new account. In addition, we reserve the right to take appropriate legal action, including without limitation pursuing civil, criminal, and injunctive redress.

Copyright Infringements

OGCraft respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that any content available on or through our Services infringes upon any copyright you own or control, please notify us OGCraft Discord Server by creating a support ticket and tagging the people with the Founder tag.

Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; or fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any other loss or liability which may not be excluded or limited by law. We will under no circumstances whatsoever be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise howsoever arising for: any loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue; loss or corruption of data, information or software; loss of anticipated savings; loss of goodwill; or any indirect or consequential loss.

Our total liability to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise howsoever arising, shall in no circumstances exceed 100% of the total Plan Fees paid by you in the 12-month period prior to the date on which the act or omission giving rise to the liability occurred.

Except as expressly stated in these Terms, we do not give any representation, warranties or undertakings in relation to the Services. Any representation, condition or warranty which might be implied or incorporated into these Terms by statute, common law or otherwise is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. In particular, we will not be responsible for ensuring that the content provided through the Services is suitable for your purposes.

Indemnification

You agree to fully indemnify, hold harmless and defend (collectively “indemnify” and “indemnification”) OGCraft and its directors, officers, employees, agents, stockholders and Affiliates (collectively, “Indemnified Parties”) from and against all claims, demands, actions, suits, damages, liabilities, losses (including but not limited to any direct, indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, loss of reputation and all interest, penalties and legal costs (calculated on a full indemnity basis) and all other reasonable professional costs and expenses), settlements, judgments, costs and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorney’s fees and costs), whether or not involving a third party claim, which arise out of or relate to (1) any breach of any representation or warranty of OGCraft contained in this Agreement, (2) any breach or violation of any covenant or other obligation or duty of OGCraft under this Agreement or under applicable law, (3) your breach or negligent performance or non-performance of any of these Terms, in each case whether or not caused by the negligence of OGCraft or any other Indemnified Party and whether or not the relevant Claim has merit.

Authorization

By continued use of this Site and other OGCraft Services and by making a payment to OGCraft you indicate your agreement with these Terms and Conditions and you further agree that:

•         You are above the age of 18 or 18 years of age, or you are operating with the guidance and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

•         By making a payment you have authorization to use the debit/credit card and/or PayPal account.

•         By making a payment to OGCraft you are not entitled to any tangible goods.

•         You will not charge back, dispute, or otherwise reverse any payments.

•         You understand and agree that you will not be issued a refund.

•         You will not abuse and/or misuse any awarded privilege(s).

•         We reserve the right to ban any account without notice for any reason.

•         You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions as listed above.

If you do not agree with the Terms listed above then do not apply for membership or use our Services. Failure to comply with any of these Terms and Conditions or breaking Server Rules can lead to a permanent ban from all of our Services without refund.

Like every reset, we have a brand new map! We wanted to go outside the box a little bit and do something we’ve never done before…

Some new additions

• Spawn Easter Egg is back! No hints, no clues, just some good old problem solving and possibly even some dancing.
• Weekly game nights, more on that below!
• Multiple datapacks which include new structures including 3 new village types, a new deep dark dimension and my personal favourite, hostile mobs will become harder to kill the longer you play on the server.
• Quests are back! We have done a massive overhaul of the previous quests along with a special rank if you manage to complete all 700+ quests. 
• A new Server Sponsor section on the store where people can sponsor the server and help us improve more features along with making more people aware of the server!

Small General Changes

• Donator ranks have now been turned into monthly versions of said ranks and players with the ranks will receive a monthly kit to reflect this. These new monthly ranks can be spotted by looking in the rank name and seeing curly brackets, {}, in them. That being said, anyone who donated prior to this change will still keep their permanent rank, shown via square brackets, [], in the rank name as well as still receiving the previous kit.
  Monthly ranks also work on an accumulative process, meaning if you purchase 30 days of time, then the day after you purchase another 30 days, you get 60 days total. If you wanted to, you could purchase a year's worth of 30 days and have that many days on your account. 
• Spawn is no longer in its own world. You can explore the normal world straight off the bat.
• A massive, and I mean massive, overhaul of /shop. Every single item has had a change in some sort of way, shape or form.

Weekly Games Nights

Map 6 is bringing a new twist to the server with Weekly Game Nights.

There will be 4 events throughout the month where players compete in multiple games to earn points and prizes!

Points you say? With the points that you earn, you get entered into the Battle of Gamers where the top three players of the month each receive prizes on top of the previous prizes!

We will also be doing a random draw from the rest of the players who scored where each point gives you an entry into the lucky draw!

The dates of the events will be announced on the last day of the month prior! 

How can I bring items to the new map?

Much like last time we are limiting the transfer of items to only trophy items (such as ones won from events) or historical items like Dragon Eggs.

Fill a shulker box with all your trophy and historical items and give it to a staff member, but once we have been given the shulker box you cannot get it back. Don’t forget to rename it with your minecraft username (not nickname!)

If you don’t have a shulker box, please do /kit Shulker to receive a free one!

The final day for turning in shulker boxes is 27th September!

Once we open on the new map, your shulker boxes will be given out by the moderators.

In one month's time, August 15th 2023, we will be celebrating OGCraft's 3rd Birthday! For the events this year we are bringing back a couple of old minigames, a custom built new type of minigame and we are giving away over $100 worth of things from the store!
